Just some random thoughts….non-sequitors…whatever you want to call them….11 Things I Think I Think for November….

1. The Beach is overrated….sand is annoying and you can’t heat ocean water…give me a pool…or even better a hot-tub….and a hot chick….and some champagne….
2. The Beatles will always be my favorite band….but sometimes, you NEED to listen to the Rolling Stones….and that’s what I’m doing right now…it started with a yearning need to listen to “I Can’t Get No (Satisfaction)” but I knew I’d end up pretty much ending up listening to the whole Forty Licks album and then some….
3. I was asked yesterday if I ever get tired of Rock Band….I gotta say, honestly sometimes I do…but I always go back to it, if that makes sense….like even after I beat Guitar Hero, there was always something to do on the game, and I enjoy playing some songs (like Cherub Rock) over and over and over again….
4. Zack and Miri Make A Porno is a funny, funny movie….even if I didn’t so much like the ending…..check it out, especially you Kevin Smith fans out there…..
5. How about those 6-0 Atlanta Hawks!!?!!?! I got a chance to watch them play a whole game while I was in Atlanta….these boys are for real. They play with passion and they actually play DEFENSE!! I hope they maintain this all season!
6. Speaking of Atlanta sports….the Falcons! They have exceeded my expectations. They can honesly lose the rest of their games and I’ll be proud of what they’ve done….okay I’m lying I want them to make the playoffs! Yes I’m never satisfied (like the Good 2 Go) song….
7. What exactly is creepy? Would I qualify as creepy? Probably….(you aren’t allowed to answer these random questions by the way….you know who you are)….
8. Facebook beat Myspace….I actually could have called that one….Facebook is just so much easier to control…I can limit access and all that crap and I don’t have to worry about spam NEARLY as much as I do on Myspace….plus I don’t have to be friends with Tom anymore….
9. I need to thank Deah for clarifying flask laws and other such free legal advice she gave me….having friends who are prosecutors is wassup!
10. It amazes me how funny Martin still is after all of these years. I can literally pop in ANY DVD and watch ANY episode and crack the hell up. It’s funny how much of my mannerisms and such I absorbed from that show as well. I guess moms was onto something in trying to restrict my TV habits. Maybe I wouldn’t be so quick to throw people out of my apartment and such!
11. It’s really hard to do the things you say you are going to do in the face of what you really want to do….I really appreciate all the advice guys…too bad it’s probably going to go to waste….enjoy the train wreck though…..

You know sometimes you just have to write when you feel like it….

- I think sometimes I can be a real asshole, like walking around with headphones on to avoid conversations with people that I don’t feel like talking to….sometimes I’m not even listening to anything….

- I think there is no better sound than Chaka Khan on Through The Fire…except maybe Whitney Houston in the last 40 seconds or so of I’m Every Woman….

- I think I’m going to utterly dominate at least 2 of the 4 yahoo fantasy leagues I’m a part of this year….

- I think I’m not lacking for self confidence lately….

- I think these dark times me and the homies are going through right now are a precursor to some fucking fantastic shit….just you wait!

- I think if you are missing my musical notes on Facebook you are missing some of my best writing in a long time….

- I think I need to figure out how to import those bad boys to the home base here….

- I think Facebook needs to stop showing me these former crushes on the “people you might know” list….I don’t wanna see her…or her…or her!!

- I think Usain Bolt is kind of scary….

- I think our gymnasts got robbed….

- I think I watched WAAAAAAAAAY more olympics than I planned….

- I think Jo Fenn and Jade Johnson are my two favorite discoveries of the Olympics….to borrow from the late Bernie Mac….CLAUDE have mercy!

- I think I HATE corny dudes….

- I think Twitter is officially my new addiction….

- I think I shouldn’t get my hopes up too high….

- I think it’s hard not to though….my nose is so wide open….

- I think this is a good place to stop….

I think because it’s Baby Che’s birthday, but I was reminiscing something serious today!

Like I pulled out my Senior Yearbook from the Lake as well as my little Senior Memories book and read my various notes from people and looked at pictures. So many memories of things I had forgotten about! So many notes that had hidden messages that I’m JUST NOW beginning to understand. So many missed signals and chances, oh well, damn you cryptic women!

It’s funny how many people told me to keep in touch, and how many of them I’ve COMPLETELY lost touch with. People that were REALLY my GOOD, CLOSE friends back then, merely afterthoughts. Even now as I type this entry, the words they said float like so much smoke in the reservoirs of my mind.

I guess I should be extremely thankful for the likes of Elenda and Nile who I pretty regularly keep up with.

9 Things I Think I Think…(hope he doesn’t have that copywrited!)

1) Upon further review and evaluation, the Class of 98 still wins for highest quality AND quantity of females…though I realize that 95 appreciated pretty well in a few cases….I still wonder if she really did make him skeet to the ceiling!

2) I wish I had a PS3 right now, because I’d definitely be in line to get GTA4….and Rock Band! They say it’s the best game ever. Like EVER, ever! I don’t know why, but I believe them, whoever they are!

3) I can’t be any more excited about going to North Carolina this weekend! I’m so proud of Nina P., I don’t think I can overstate this! I think this weekend is going to be one of those that goes down in history.

4) The only thing Falcons Draft related that I’ll say is that I really hope we don’t look back at this draft and feel like we should have picked Glenn Dorsey over Matt Ryan when he gets a 3 sack day against him….I really hope that doesn’t happen….oh, also, I’m tired of the up and down with the Braves right now, but I guess that’s part of fandom….and I’ll take that win over Boston! Wasn’t expecting it, but I’LL TAKE IT…and now I want more!

5) “See it ain’t nothing wrong with dreaming but (sic) girl don’t get me wrong/cuz everytime I see you it lets me know just how strong/that my love is for my baby/but emotions just don’t lie/well I know I’m alot of (sic) man/but not enough to divide the pie” - Sometimes I’m just in a Next Lifetime mood…

6) I can’t wait for the next live performance of Small Axe….I really enjoyed that Saturday night! I need to get out and see live music more often.

7) For the most part I was raised right….unless your name is Boogs and you are still holding a grudge even though I apologized! Check out what the Very Smart Brothas have to say about chivalry!

When my thoughts become more coherent about the upcoming bloody summer in Chicago and the Sean Bell Verdict I’ll write about them each…right now I’m too flustered about both to say anything meaningful!
