I just came to the realization that I have too many people on my buddy list.
There are 187 total people on my buddy list. 187 people!!! I don’t even like 18 people total!! Okay I might be exaggerating, but honestly, there is no way that I could have convo with 187 people.
I realized that I basically add people to my buddy list if I have one thing to tell them and never remove them. Then as I’m going through psuedo-pruning of my buddylist, I create excuses and scenarios where I might talk to some people.
I need to get real and delete some of these jackasses off my buddylist. I think I’d be left with like 14 people or so who I talk to on a regular basis. The rest of them can go through the AIM screening process.
Right after I clean up my room (i.e. never).

man…i had the same problem. i actually reached the maximum buddy amount…and so i went thru and deleted everyone.
or, sometimes i create new screeen names and go from there..
actually, im sure 10 of those 187 are probably me!!
um yeah i would be on AIM talkin to u right now but im backing up my fuckin iBook so i can reformat its hardrive (because its fried i think). so im stuck on this UNIX computer terminal that isnt even capable of using old school AIM express.

Completely feel you there man. I have 164 people on there, and at least 4/5ths of those are from random gaming communities I’ve been apart of. I probably talk to like 7-8 people on a regular basis that I have on my buddy list.

I don’t think I’ll ever get that high, lol… I perform regular Buddy List maintenance. With all these damned boards I’m joining though, ya never know!

187 people? Way too many. I’m not as cyber-friendly so my Buddy List is serving a reverse purpose… kinda like a stalker alert. When certain names pop up, I either log off or switch screen names on them stalkalistic MoFo’s.
Maybe I’m just mean.
You know, maybe its the Compton in me, but I have an instant reaction to the number “187″, LOL.

I got 159 and talk to like 4… lol. I feel you. I had to delete some recently b/c it wouldn’t let me add any more people.

dang dude. but yea, you need to do what i do, and just add the ppl you talk to on a daily basis. think about the word “buddy”. LOL. =)
