So last night I was babysitting the young P-Jizzle for the first time in a minute. Dude is really in the sponge phase. His favorite question is “what happened?” He’s very inquisitive, and luckily he’s not a big “NO!” kid yet. He really is a pretty happy kid and I’m glad for it, good job so far mommy and daddy!
So anyway I’m getting ready for the newest season of the Sopranos by watching the reruns. So yes, the young PJ and I were watching that….well actually he was playing with his train set and thankfully not repeating the dialogue (you really learn exactly HOW MUCH they curse by watching it and cringing each time the eff word is uttered in fear that the little guy will start repeating it).
Last night’s episode was the climax and “denouemant” with Tony and Ralphie from season 4 (trying to be spoiler free for the 3 people who haven’t seen it and may want to), and P.J. is all like “what happened?” during the ummm…confrontation. So I kept telling him that it was the Sopranos, to which he’d look at me with a puzzled face and say, “Da Prados??” And I’d say, yeah, the Sopranos. This went on for about 10 minutes or so. After awhile I asked him, “What’s Uncle doing?” and he was like, “The Prados!” It was pretty great man! I just hope he doesn’t try to hit someone with a frying pan or spray them with Raid, because then it’ll be my fault.
So yeah…I’ve been watching the episodes “On Demand” as well. Season 4 is better upon replay. I really was kind of “meh” on it while it was going on, but it probably had the most character developement outside of season 2. I liked seeing the dissolution of Tony and Carmella’s marriage. Well, I guess “liked” is the wrong word….I was fascinated by it though. More and more I’m seeing that marriage just isn’t the thing. I mean it still is for some people and bully for them, but it’s not the thing for the Killa at all…at all….AT ALL.
I’m too selfish in many respects where you just cannot be selfish as it pertains to marriage. Like I’ll cook and I’ll share my food, and I’ll be “giving” in other aspects….but like Tony said on a later episode, “I am what I am…”
I mean I’m not exactly ROLLING in women’s body parts, but I still value the freedom….I can do what I want without answering to a Carmella….I don’t think I ever want a Carmella….and they ALL turn into Carmella….even Carmella doesn’t think she’s the way she is….but she is….and so are they….and I don’t want that….ever….
Man….this is exactly what my mother didn’t want when she banned me from Beavis and Butthead….I’m becoming susceptable to televisions influence….guess she was onto something after all!

Awww, little PJ, the most handsome little boy on the planet! You guys are lucky, because the “no” babies are really not too fun at times. Trust me! Just trust me!
They all turn into Carmella’s! I guess guy…you just haven’t found the one that you need. We all change over time, and if someone is in you’re life, they’re going to witness it…it’s just a matter of who’s transformation you’re willing to stick around for, to witness, to withstand and embrace, and to appreciate.

Yeah, everyone is hooked on the little P.J. Indeed, he is a special boy, and it only took two visits for me to figure that out.
