New Old Shows

I’m sitting here in my mother’s family room and I turned the TV on. They have Direct TV here so I could have watched just about anything, but what do I find myself watching?

I watched The Georgia Gang, this show with a panel of 5 middle aged to almost dying (mostly conservative) columnists who discuss various political issues. Then I started to watch the Channel 2 Action News.

Now you have to understand, that in the 22 years I lived in Atlanta I would have rather have watched some cartoon I hated, than to have watched a panel show like The Georgia Gang, let alone watch it intently and rather enjoy it. What is this a sign of? Am I getting too old?

Anyway, I don’t want to think of that anymore. Yesterday I went to lunch with my sisters after getting my cell phone turned back on at Cingular. Then I watched this hilarious show on Nicktoons called Invader Zim (my mom was like, “what are you cracking up at??”). Then I hung out with my friend Lyndsey for the rest of the day. We went over to a friend of her godmother’s house and we had a good time. We were going to watch Shrek (the original on DVD) but we were both too tired.

Which brings me to now, I have clean clothes, and I’m about to head back to the 6-1-5. I hope I can find a BBQ tomorrow!
