The next summer story is one of my worst summers so I’m gathering myself a little before I start to talk about it….I’m gonna just be random for a while….

First of all congratulations are in order for my homie Rashard….I wrote about Rashard possibly being shipped off to serve the country in Bush’s war a while back….you probably don’t remember….anyway, he proposed to his girlfriend today….I’m really happy for them!….I got STORIES about this guy….we go back so far….I think I wrote a little about our summer job when I wrote about him before….he and his brother played such a big role in my teenage years, he’s one of my few consistantly true friends….

I just got off of the phone with my cousin Radiance….it’s always good to hear from her….I remember growing up we would go AT it….and let’s not forget the time she slammed my hand in the car door at the drive-in movie theater….but as we get older I appreciate her more and more….she’s grown into a really wonderful woman….

Today was an overall good day….I was a little late to pathology small group session, but I still managed to arrive in time to take my quiz, which I passed….today was a pretty light day as far as class went….I had a slight hangover from last night…

Last night….wooooo….I made an ass of myself last night….for some reason I had both of my beers in the same hand (I usually “double fist”) and I was talking crazy to this girl….I don’t think she was aware but I was actually saying the lines that Martin was saying to that girl in House Party when he was dancing with her to “Always And Forever” by Heatwave….he says, “Girl you so warm and snuggly, like a bunny….you so soft and comfy like my Hush Puppies….you make a nigga want to sang….*bad singing*Alwaaaays and Foreverrrr….each moment with youuuu”…..well right when I got to that part I tried to drink from one of the bottles but the one on top had more beer and it spilled all over my shirt….needless to say I was VERY intoxicated at that point….and I didn’t “give no fuck”…..but at that point it was pretty obvious that I needed to go home….and I did…..

I’m working on my super slowjam playlist on my computer….I’m up to 952 songs so far and I probably have another 200 or so songs to add….right now “Careless Whisper” by Wham is playing….certain songs can just make me stop what I’m doing….”Careless Whisper” used to be like that for me….right now I’m really feeling Whitney’s “All The Man That I Need”….I want a woman to feel like that about me….

Moving along….I had my weekly gathering (Andrea, Jamila, and Romni showed up this week) to watch Making The Band II….somebody needs to slap some sense into Dylan….and their “freestyle” session with Kay Slay at Hot 97 was AGONIZING to watch….however it wasn’t as excruciating as the show they showed after MTB2….good grief!!!….those people couldn’t dance at ALL….they looked like some Darren’s Dance Grooves video rejects….yet this Wade Robison dude seemed impressed by them…..at a certain point I thought, “Surely this show is a spoof…this can’t be real….” and I think the interview dude with the big ass hoop earring was on the same wavelength as me at times, the way he was looking at those people….

Well, that’s enough randomness for now….I’m out….tomorrow (or later today as it were) I’ll write all about my terrible summer of 1993….
