Your questions answered!

Well this was fun! I see why Max loves ask Max. Let me jump right into the questions!
Raven asked:

1) What do you like most about yourself? My quirky sense of humor and my resilience.
2) Who do you think gave the best performance in Baby Boy? Ving Rhames as Melvin, especially having endured 5 minutes of Holiday Heart. He has range, I’ll give him that.
3) Ketchup or mustard? I used to be a ketchup guy strictly, but now I’m Colonel Mustard. I blame Krystals.

Antonio G asked:

a) What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made in life that’s been your greatest lesson learned? Mr. G you come with the tough questions like Bob Costas! Ummmmm….I think the biggest mistake I’ve made was probably getting a credit card and going over the limit, because as a medical student I already have significant debt, and I’ve compounded the problem by ruining my credit. (I sat here thinking through a whole listening of Nas’s “Life’s a Bitch” contemplating this question.)
b) Has Killa Cal ever been in love? Yep. It hurts so good.
c) How does it feel to be Young, Gifted & Black? It’s both daunting and awesome. I have expectations out the wazoo, not only from other people, but from within. It’s ultimately the driving factor in my life.

Tina asked:

1. Kid or Play? Tisha or that other chick? Whom did you choose and why? I’m definitely Kid, I have the same goofy sense of humor and awkwardness. Tisha, because I couldn’t handle Sharain’s ghetto-fabulousness.
2. Any failed attempts at “gettin some” due to lack of protection? If so, details. I’m not playing. Nope, now failed attempts because of a lack of game and saying the wrong thing? Countless.
3. What would you have done to avoid getting your booty played with? I wouldn’t have rapped, that’s for damn sho! I probably would have developed a tick, and then shouted very loudly that I had AIDS or something.

Liz asked:

1) what are you doing this summer, and where ya gonna be? I am going to take a review course given by Kaplan for the United States Medical Licensing Exam Step 1 that I am taking at some point later this summer. I’ll be here in Music City all summer more than likely.
2) Are you aware that Vivica A Fox was in Kill Bill Vol 1 for 7 minutes? SEVEN MINUTES?!?! lol. Are you content in knowing this? lol. You know, I wouldn’t have minded her being in there for just a little longer, just so I could get more background on her character. I wish she had been in some other movies for only 7 minutes.
3) Have you seen Chris Rock’s newest HBO special? Comments? Yep, I actually watched it between a showing of Kill Bill Vol. 1 here at the Boom Boom Room and going to see Vol. 2 at 100 Oaks. I’ll give the comments below.

The Mommy asked:

1)What did you actually think of the Chris Rock Special? I enjoyed it! It made me laugh pretty hard, and it also made me think. I like intelligent humor, I don’t like being pandered to very much. Once again I am back to my stance of never wanting to get married thanks to his commentary on marriage. Do you make Hubby go on playdates?
2) Do you find it strange that Rick James didn’t make it to the Dave Chappelle Clip show? Nah, I knew he wasn’t going to include it simply because he knows just as well as we do that it was CLEARLY the funniest thing all season. I think he was just trying to highlight some stuff that might have been slept on. Or maybe just HIS favorite skits.
3) Why does my husband listen to random booty-shake mixed with like random MTV white people? Because he’s from Florida and doesn’t know any better.

Max asked:

1) What was YOUR favorite arcade game? Altered Beast has a special place in my heart. When I was about 10, me and the homie Eulus were at some kind of fair for some reason and they had free play on the arcade games. We were determined to beat that game, in spite of the line forming behind us. Finally this Asian woman comes up to us with her son and says very angrily “Let other people have turn!” But the game I’ve spent the most money on is Street Fighter II: Championship Edition.
2) What do you think of the Falcons’ 1st round pick? DeAngelo Hall was a good selection for us. He can come in and immediately help the secondary which has been the weakness of the Falcons since the days of Charles “Toast” Dimry. Our other pick, Mike Jenkins, looks like he can be a good short pass option to open things up more for Peerless Price. I’m getting excited about the season!
3) How much more med school do you have left? If all goes as planned I will be graduating in May of 2006. So two more years. I’ll be done with basic science work after taking my Pathology Subject Board tomorrow.

Nexy asked:

1. Have you ever been to Saint Louis? If so, how did that turn out? Nope, but I might be there for S.N.M.A. next year. I was supposed to go last year but the person I was going with flaked out on me.
2. What would be the branch of medicine that you would LEAST want to practice? I like it all, but I guess Psychiatry, because it’s so subjective and they have the highest rate of depression and suicide of all physicians.
3. I think that OJ and you should revive the slow jam CD contest, don’t you? Yeah, now that I have iTunes and it’s easy to put together a playlist, why not!

TT asked:

1. Do you believe in love at first sight? Nope, but I believe in LUST at first site. As Mariah sang, “Love takes time”.
2. Bath or Shower? Shower. Stewing in my own dirt and filth doesn’t sit well with me.
3. One thing you could live without? I could live without gossip and fakeness.

Brick asked:

1. You are a med student, I know. So do you ever grossed out by anything? Alot of things gross me out. The sight of mushrooms or mayonaisse makes me physically sick to my stomach. I am also repulsed by doo-doo-feces and vomick.
2. Do you have any idea where you will eventually end up (in terms of which state-do you have a preference)? I want to go back to Georgia, but I wouldn’t mind settling in the great state of Texas either.
3. Biggie or Tupac? (cliche, I know…LOL) Pac. I relate to his music just a little bit more. Big was a better storyteller, and a better lyricist, but Pac knew how to get you emotionally involved in the music. Pac could get you riled up on one song and on the next have you calling your mom to tell her you love her.

I’ll do this again one day! It was fun!
